One of the most amazing things about the human body is its natural ability it to heal itself. However, as we find ourselves leading increasingly demanding lives, this capacity is being hampered.
The reality is that life’s stresses and trauma disturbs our automatic functions, which means that our bodies are not functioning optimally and in turn developing disease (dis-ease), discomfort and pain. When under stress, not only do we take a longer time to heal, but we are also not able to live life to the fullest.
I practice Kinesiology, a non-invasive form of therapy that works with the nervous system to help the body heal itself. Kinesiology looks beyond the symptoms by re-establishing balance in the body so that it recuperates from events that have conditioned the nervous system to respond in a certain, less desirable way.
It is important to note, that as a practice, Kinesiology, forms part of a holistic approach to healthcare. It is not a substitute for your existing healthcare regime and is not meant to replace your need for medical care or medications, neither is it meant to cure you. What it does do, is ensure that your body is better able to naturally heal itself.
